Dr. Jennifer Laidlaw

Jennifer Laidlaw earned her MD from the University of British Columbia before completing an internship in Psychiatry. During her time in Toronto, she was avidly involved in medical education and has presented at international conferences and published on the topics of delirium screening as well as professionalism and social media. She began her career as the head of Consultation Liaison (CL) psychiatrist at Surrey Memorial Hospital where she focused on building a thriving and highly collaborative CL service which provides psychiatric care for patients on the medical and surgical wards including the palliative care and oncology units. She was also awarded an Facilities Engagement grant to develop guidelines on how to manage vulnerable patients in the hospital.

She is also the Provincial Practice Director for Psychiatry within BC Cancer, Clinical Associate professor at UBC and the past president of the BC Psychiatric Association. She is an assistant professor at Tufts University School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and adjunct faculty in the UM PM&R & Family Medicine residency programs. She has a long-standing interest in research and education on musculoskeletal issues. She currently teaches Neuromuscular and musculoskeletal medicine to Family Medicine residents and has ongoing research projects on musculoskeletal education, electrodiagnostic medicine, and performing arts medicine.

Dr. Pulkit Singh completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales prior to finishing her Psychiatry residency at the University of British Columbia. She was awarded the Undergraduate Teaching Award and the Psychotherapy Award during her training to acknowledge her accomplishments in these fields. She has worked in a variety of Psychiatry areas and has a particular interest in Cardiac Psychiatry.

Dr. Nadeesha Fernando is a psychiatrist who treats adults of all ages at BC Cancer. She has a keen interest in Psychooncology, and is a fan of working with people who are older. She has a longstanding interest in geriatric psychosis, and has worked as a consultant for the Geriatric Psychiatry Consult Liaison Service (GPCLS) and the ECT Service at Vancouver General Hospital. She is a mentor and teacher for medical students and residents.

Dr. Theresa Lo

Dr. Theresa Lo is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, where she completed her medical school and residency in psychiatry. She has worked for the BC Cancer Agency, Surrey Mental Health and the UBC Sleep Disorders Centre. She also has a clinical practice in psychotherapy which includes dialectical behavioural therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy. She is proficient in Cantonese.

Dr Karim is a member of The Royal College of Psychiatrists and trained at Guy’s King’s St Thomas’, St George’s and St George’s Hospitals in London. She is an active member of the Specialist Register for the General Medical Council, and has been practicing psychiatry for more than 20 years. She has an interest in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Dr. Richford began her career as a nurse and then she went on to study medicine at Dalhousie. She received her MD in 1996. She has worked in many Psychiatry areas, including Addiction Psychiatry, Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Psycho-oncology, and many more. She is currently a staff psychiatrist at Providence Health Care, Vancouver General Hospital and BC Cancer – Vancouver, as well as an Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology at UBC. She is also the former president of the British Columbia Psychiatric Association.

Dr Margaret Wong

Dr. Margaret Wong, a renowned expert in medicine, is dedicated to improving the quality of healthcare. Dr. Wong is a member of Mount Sinai Health System. She accepts a variety of insurance plans. Her office is located at Stephen S Wan MD PLLC in New York. She has been in practice for more than 15 years. She graduated from ROSS UNIV / SCHOOL of MEDICINE and VETERINARY METHOD. She has a very good score with patients. She is a board member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is a member of both the Association of Physicians and Surgeons of Ohio and the American Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. She is a member of the Eighth Judicial District Court and Federal Sixth Circuit Court.
