In my current role as Head of Fund Operations, I currently provide leadership and oversight to a team of 15 in driving the team’s overall operational strategic direction and ensuring all operational activities align accordingly. With my exceptional leadership and business-savvy skills, I have successfully created and implemented seamless and creative operational solutions which have contributed significantly to easing customer transaction processes, and have increased cost savings and business revenues whilst mitigating financial losses as a result of operational errors. I have also successfully trained, coached, and mentored team members on optimizing service and operational processes using Lean Sigma processes.
In previous roles, I also contributed significantly to mitigating huge financial losses by successfully implementing and enhancing operational and cost savings processes.
My well-grounded finance educational background has also greatly honed my skills and has been very instrumental to my career accomplishments as a Finance professional. I am also an affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) with an MBA in General Management, BSC in Economics, and HND in Banking and Finance.

• Provided strategic leadership and oversight (to a team of 12) on overall operations. • Prepared annual financial reports in line with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS). • Reviewed daily valuations of mutual funds and individual portfolios to ascertain correctness. • Provided reasonable assurance on asset reconciliations to the Board of Directors. • Drove back-office operations support and provided strategic direction to Stanbic IBTC Insurance Brokers Limited and Stanbic IBTC Trustees Limited. • Created and managed all payment platforms and other payment mediums. • Prepared and reviewed risk management, valuation, and control reports. • Collaborated with custodians to propose recovery strategies for outstanding assets due to funds within the assigned portfolio. • Computed management fees, prepared settlement advice, and commission payments. • Provided trade execution solutions to the assigned portfolio. Key Accomplishments: • Created and executed ‘straight through a process to custodian’ - a simplified process of signing and receiving redemption proceeds right after authorization, eliminating manual transfer processes at both ends (SIAML and UBA custodian). • Eased reconciliation process by upgrading reconciliation application (FundFusion) to include auto-match feature using e-account, policy numbers, and unique identifiers for transactions. • Recovered over $925,000 (equivalent to ₦300m+) through successful forensic reconciliation on Eurobond accounts over 12 years, uncovering several irregularities including double payments, wrong payments, and non-payments. • Successfully set up operations and accounting teams for Stanbic IBTC Insurance Brokers Limited and Stanbic IBTC Trustees Limited. • Trained, coached, and mentored new team members on service and operational processes for managing customer complaints, and preparing and reconciling financial statements.
